Did you know that 70s country star Freddie Hart was the first artist to record Rumor Has It?
We don’t even know how we came upon this, but we were on Discogs recently and found this 7” single of a song called “Rumor Has It” released on the Fifth Street Records label in 1988.
Was it the same song that Reba released in 1990? We checked the songwriters and yes! It was a match.
As soon as we had some disposable income, we picked up the 7” single and ripped it to our MacBook. You can listen to it in the player below.
