Reba continued her monthly music capsule series with its third installment, Ain’t Gonna Keep It Waitin’ - EP, released June 26, 2026, via MCA. Built around the spirit of hitting the open road, the five-song collection paired a brand-new recording with selections from across McEntire’s five-decade career that captured the freedom, romance, and energy of driving with the windows down. The title track, “Ain’t Gonna Keep It Waitin’,” was written by Brett Beavers, Connie Harrington, and Kelley Lovelace and produced by Dave Cobb.

The new song was joined by “I’d Rather Ride Around With You,” “Love Will Find Its Way To You,” “We’re So Good Together,” and “Wrong Night,” bringing together recordings from different eras of McEntire’s career around a road trip-ready theme. McEntire later made the television performance debut of “Ain’t Gonna Keep It Waitin’” on July 4 during Disney Celebrates America: Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash, part of a special nationwide celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

The capsule was accompanied by The Reign of Reba, the next installment in the playlist series chronicling McEntire’s career. Released July 1, the playlist focused on her dominance throughout the 1990s, an era defined by fearless storytelling, major hits, and her emergence as one of country music’s most recognizable entertainers. The release also arrived alongside another celebration of McEntire’s career, as two previously unreleased recordings from her acclaimed Broadway run as Annie Oakley in Annie Get Your Gun, “You Can’t Get a Man with a Gun” and “I Got Lost in His Arms,” were released 25 years after she took her final bow in the production.
