Reba celebrated the work of acclaimed songwriter Brandy Clark with Tourist - EP, the fifth release in her yearlong music capsule series commemorating 50 years of music. Released August 21, 2026, via MCA, the collection featured five songs written or co-written by Clark, bringing together recordings from different points in McEntire’s career. Its newly recorded title track, “Tourist,” was written by Clark with Jeremy Spillman and Travis Meadows and produced by Buddy Cannon and McEntire.

The EP reflected a longstanding creative connection between McEntire and Clark, whose songwriting had repeatedly resonated with the country icon. Alongside “Tourist,” the collection revisited “Tammy Wynette Kind of Pain,” “The Day She Got Divorced,” “She Got Drunk Last Night,” and “Cry,” highlighting Clark’s ability to tell deeply human stories of heartache, resilience, and complicated relationships. Their creative connection had also extended to “Trailblazer,” McEntire’s collaboration with Miranda Lambert and Lainey Wilson, which Clark co-wrote and which earned McEntire a GRAMMY nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Tourist continued the 50th anniversary series following One Night in Tulsa, Hurt Like That, Ain’t Gonna Keep It Waitin’, and Ring Ring. The release was paired with the next chapter of McEntire’s career-spanning playlist series, The Continuation of Reba, arriving September 1. The playlist turned its focus toward an artist who had continued to evolve decades into her career, while remaining grounded in the honesty, strength, and unmistakable vocal style that had defined her music from the beginning.
